before june slips us by, i wanted to write and wish my wonderful husband a HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! we had a busy but great weekend...on friday, we went to jamie and peter's wedding out at bridal veil...what a beautiful setting!! jamie looked stunning and it was great to see so many old familiar faces all grown up. on saturday, we had breakfast at one of our favorite places {milo's} with the goetz's and doud's {we missed you kincaid's!}. after breakfast, scott put on his USA jersey to watch the world cup. then we FINALLY hit the road to go to our favorite beach...CANNON!! when we got there, we ran into more of our friends...the vogt's! it was so fun to see their whole family and catch up for a bit. afterwards, scott and i made it to the beach and did our regular walk...only this time we had our little charlie. we looked at each other and hesitated for a moment on whether to let this rascal off leash but i'm so glad we did! he is a riot...

afterwards, we stopped at some of our favorite treat spots and headed back into town. car rides together is one of scott and i's favorite times together. we reminisced about the past year and talked about our marriage. we reflected upon our times of trial and our huge JOYS in life. i have to say, our second year into married life is so much sweeter than our first...and that makes me excited for all the years after because it can only get sweeter, right?? i can truly say with my everything that i love scott more today than the first day i met him...and now with a baby on the way, i can only see this love growing...{like my belly!}
